Building and operating the journal
Building the journal on internationally recognised publishing platforms, tuning the intake, double-blind peer-review, acceptance and publication path, and hosting content on a secure, continuous infrastructure.
Integrity verification
Screening incoming manuscripts before they are assigned for peer review, and drafting the journal’s policies on publication ethics and handling misconduct. This work is supported by our tools: Sibar and Yaqeen.
Content production
Converting accepted manuscripts into publication formats — JATS XML, HTML, and PDF — standardising reference lists, and designing issue covers. This work is supported by Nadd.
Digital identity and documentation
Issuing digital identifiers for articles through institutional Crossref membership, and linking researcher identities to the ORCID registry, so every article has a persistent address that can be cited.
Readiness for international indexing
Assessing the journal’s readiness, closing gaps in its requirements, preparing the submission dossier for Scopus, Web of Science, and DOAJ, and following the application through to a decision.
